This blog is for those who wish to reincorporate the concepts of all the famous economists and social theorists throughout the last few hundred years into our current society. The current slide towards statism and ever more government control demands that we remind the country what our society was founded on. The founding fathers based much of their philosophy on individuals like Adam Smith and Edmond Burke. Later on these two brilliant intellectuals had their concepts picked up by and carried forward by individuals like Frederick Bastiat, Lugwig Von Misus, John Stewart Mill, Frederick Hayek and Milton Friedman, and many others. I intend to post "dissertations" on these wonderful individuals focusing on how their ideas can be applied to our current political situation.
I would love to start an ongoing discussion on this issue and look forward to anyone's comments added to the blog. Differing points of view of course welcome. Really.
